    Hatch Information:

    • Mid-April to Early May
    • #14-16 Grass Green Pupa
    • #16-20 Dry Fly w/Charcoal Body and Tan/Grey Wing

    Hatch Sumary:

Caddisflies are a bit more difficult to analyze than Mayflies and as such there is some debate as to exactly what Caddis specie is emerging during this hatch, what is not debated is the importance of this hatch to the S.E. Minnesota Fly Angler and the trout. This could be the most prolific hatch in S.E. Minnesota as it can be found on most streams and the emergence is often large.
