Area Report:
9/3/10: Clean water can be found between rain events in S.E. MN. Look to smaller watersheds and make sure to check weather conditions before heading out. On windy days try to assess the direction of the wind and pick a stream running perpendicular with a tight valley. This should keep you out of the wind and enjoying a cooler day while others are at home or casting into gusts. I use Google Earth to help me view topographical features of the Driftless Area. With spawning season winding up soon think about tossing a leech or bugger.
