Thought I would show the mess that is my bench. I figure those who do this and do it feverishly probably have things strewn about. That can be me sometimes. Liz stuffed the whole pheasant when she was in High School. It’s good to have a dog that is rather good at hunting pheasant.
After examining the stream contents I brought back I tied a dozen sparkle pupa as described by Gary LaFontaine. Fly Tyer Magazine recently had an issue with a book of his last flies, I am thinking about purchasing it. I really like the way Gary writes Caddisflies, the way he describes his thought process. You can see it in the sparkle pupa, I hope it helps me this spring and summer.
