This summer I plan on doing alot of fishing and some of it is going to be in a boat on the big river in my back yard. Liz’s dad has a boat and a fly rod so I wanted to make something that we could use together to have a good time. I tied these “Crappie Killers” from a picture in a magazine, I used a different material for the tail and body, and the one in the magazine didn’t have a red rib but I like fooling around with ideas. I tied these in 10’s and 8’s some with tungsten bead heads and some with plastic to adjust the sink time. I’m looking forward to getting a warm water box together for those days when Jeff wants to get into the boat. Perhaps these will catch bass as well.
